Ratan Tata

I am inspired by Ratan Tata’ good  at heart.

We have several industrialists and business tycoons in India. Everyone else is known for their wealth, while Ratan Tata even though he is rich he is known for his kind heart and simplicity. Ratan Tata is the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons that means that he has retired as the Chairman of Tata Sons but is still considered as the Honorary Chairman. Tata has made many famous cars but one of the best releases is Tata, Tata Nano car, which was priced at ₹ 1 lakh and allowed many middle class Indians to fulfill their dream of owning a car. Now, Ratan Tata arrived at the Taj Hotel Mumbai in a Tata Nano. He arrived without any of his bodyguards or security forces. The car was driven by his close friend Shantanu Naidu. People on the internet were very inspired by his humble attitude.

Replying to the post, several people have expressed their respect and admiration for Ratan Tata. One person commented, “What a great person!” Someone else said, “We need to learn a lot from him.” The video was shared by famous entertainment journalist Viral Bhayani on Instagram. It got more than 1.9 million views and has been liked by more than 1.4Lakh people. Another person said that they want Tata to bring back the Nano.

He wrote how he wanted the legendary Nano car to be back. “He is the best example who believes what he has built. Look at him travelling in Nano. Simplicity at its Best.” The pocket-friendly car was launched in 2008.

Explaining his motivation behind the production of Tata Nano, Ratan Tata said that he had seen father, mother and 2 children on a bike. Tata felt that this is very unsafe and wanted to make a cheap car so a family can drive around safely.

This is why he created Nano for Rs 1 lakh. However, the car did not sell much because it was mocked by people for being so cheap and hardly anyone bought it. Because in India, owning a car is just not a convenience but a style and standard statement. So whoever tends to buy this cheap car introduced by Tata was badly trolled by other Indians. However the car Tata drove in Mumbai is the Tata Nano EV an electrice Nano! So would you buy it if Tata starts selling Tata Nano EV?
